60th annual Waterama

60 years of Waterama on beautiful Lake Minnewaska in sunny Glenwood!

We’d like to invite everyone to join the festivities this upcoming week of July 21^st through the 26^th! Waterama is truly a unique getaway with days of fun-packed activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Activities kick off with the Medallion Hunt and Memorabilia Exhibit on Tuesday, the 21^st, with much more to do throughout the week: street dances, 3 different parades, tractor pulls, sand sculpture contest, races, water ski show, prize giveaways, car and cycle show, crafts, and much more!

Bring your appetite, as vendors will be set up throughout the town with great food fit for any palate! We at Marthaler Chevrolet will be handing out free ice cream treats to cool you down on Thursday, July 23^rd and Friday, July 24^th downtown at Glenwood Collision Center.

Feast your eyes on the Midwest’s only lighted pontoon and boat parade. While the night lights up with a fireworks display over Lake Minnewaska, you can watch a parade of illuminated pontoons and boats show off their own colors not far from shore, starting at City Beach. The action starts at 9:15 pm on Saturday, July 25^th.

Waterama Coronation and Grande Day Parade wrap up the 60^th anniversary event on Sunday the 26^th. We hope to see you there!!!

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about our free 7 state delivery lately, and would like to explain exactly what is going on. It’s pretty simple, actually. If you reside in any of the following states, we’ll deliver your next new or used Marthaler car to you! Here are the states: Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Of course, we would prefer if you can stop in and meet our staff to get the full purchase experience. Glenwood, Minnesota is a beautiful town to visit! You’ll love our view of Lake Minnewaska.

 

Q: I live out of state, what do I do about taxes on my vehicle?

A: You will need to separately take care of the taxes that your state requires you to pay. If you are a Minnesota resident, we’ll include taxes in the paperwork.

Q: How do I know if the vehicle is as good as you say it is?

                A: We will virtually “kick the tires” for you! Via email and YouTube, you will receive a thorough walk-around of the vehicle of your choice. You want close up pictures under the hood, of tire tread, or any minor flaws? We don’t hide anything… we all know that a used vehicle may have some wear and tear. Marthaler Chevrolet stands behind their work and we won’t deliver you a disappointment. If the vehicle we deliver to you isn’t everything that we said it is, then we’ll turn around and bring it back to the dealership.

Q: Come on, there must be a catch… hidden fees?

                A: Nope. You pay the price you see on our website for your vehicle of choice; plus tax, title, license and doc fee.

Q: What about financing?

                A: You can still finance with us, too. We shop many different banks and get you the lowest rate possible. Send us your credit application. It’s totally secure, and it’s totally worth it!

Q: I’m shopping for New Chevrolets and I’m out of state. Are there any state-specific GM incentives, and how can I qualify for them?

                A: When shopping for new vehicles at Marthaler Chevrolet, we make sure that you qualify for every incentive possible. It doesn’t matter which state you’re from. Q: What if I have a trade-in?

                A: Another reason we’d like to see you here in person is to give you top dollar on your trade. We do have an online trade-in form though, if you can’t make it in to see us and visit Glenwood.
